Sadimama's Essentials was founded in 2000 by Brooklyn native Sadiqa—affectionately known as “Sadimama” by loved ones for her warm, nurturing spirit and natural gift for caring for others.

From a young age, Sadiqa battled eczema and spent years searching for lasting relief. Later, while seeking holistic support for both her skin and emotional wellness, she discovered the transformative world of essential oils and aromatherapy. It was the life-changing, soul-soothing alternative she had been searching for.

Driven by curiosity and hope, she dove in—taking classes, reading everything she could, and attending workshops. She began formulating her own blends, always testing on herself (never on animals), and soon saw real results. What started as a personal journey to healing quickly blossomed into Sadimama's Essentials.

Originally created to meet her own needs, the demand from friends and family grew—and so did the collection. Today, Sadimama’s Essentials Aromatherapy Sprays & Body Mists continue to uplift, soothe, and support people around the world.
